- Abstract:
Malaria remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in sub-Saharan Africa accounting for between 250-300 million deaths per annum. In Ghana, malaria accounts for over 40% of daily outpatient attendance and more than 38000 deaths per annum. Home treatment of malaria is advocated nationally and most patients only report to health facilities
