Introduction: Systemic Polymyxin B was introduced into the therapy in 1960s. Its spectrum of activity encompasses gram negative rods including highly resistant acinetobacter & P. aeruginosa. The systemic use of the drug gradually became obsolete due to its major toxicities associated with its systemic use & availability of other safer..
