    Students are goal driven. If marks are awarded for coursework assignments, students perceive this as a worthwhile task. Approximately 30% of the MPharm curriculum at the University of Hertfordshire consists of group work involving case studies, however, their value and the impact of their method of assessment has yet to be determined.
