Prior to the ‘Internet explosion’, sources of drug information for health professionals and patients were clearly delineated. Health professionals were the gatekeepers to drug information that would be difficult for patients to access. The Internet removes many of those boundaries. Patients have open, convenient access to online medical.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
