Radiopharmaceuticals have established utility in oncologic imaging. Although use for screening or initial diagnosis is limited, a variety of radiopharmaceuticals have recognized importance for staging, monitoring therapy, and detecting recurrence of many types of cancer. These imaging procedures may greatly influence individual patient..
