    Permanent need for synthesis of new antimicrobial componds has resulted in synthesis of numerous synthetic derivatives of 4-hydoxycoumarin with antibacterial actvity. Some of these compounds such as novobiocin, chlorobiocin, cumermycin A1, and vanillobiocin, are used in therapy or show very good activity against Staphylococcus aureus . Our
