Clinical use and experimental data indicate that corticosterods differ in their ability to suppress inflammation. This has been attributed, in part, to differences in their ability to penetrate the corneal epithelium. Acetate and alcohol formulations are sparingly solubile in water and are formulated for topical ocular use as suspensions...
