Introduction: Drug formularies are used to protect against high medicine costs, and to provide prescribers with a range of safe and appropriate products with demonstrated cost-effectiveness1. Selection methodologies for formulary inclusion include CURE 2, SOJA 3, and STEPS (Safe Therapeutic and Economic Pharmaceuticals Selection) modified SOJA4.
