Background: Expanded prescribing is emerging as a new professional role for pharmacists. Pharmacists in Australia are restricted to prescribing over-the-counter medications. In the UK pharmacists can act as supplementary or independent prescribers depending on their training. The aims of this research were to identify the main therapeutic areas.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
