Introduction: The purpose of the study is to investigate how formulation affects precipitation of drug from lipid-based systems following dispersion and digestion of representative types of lipid formulations in aqueous media. Methods: A lipophilic model drug, fenofibrate was formulated in representative Type II, IIIA, IIIB & IV lipid delivery..
