Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global problem. It is very common in Sri Lanka, with the notable emergence of multi-drug resistance bacteria . There is therefore an urgent need for interventions to address AMR.
In 2016, the Sri Lankan government released its six-year national strategic plan to combat AMR  and comply with the WHO’s.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
