Clinical pharmacy has expanded over the last decade to include new roles providing patient-facing services in residential and primary care settings as well as in urgent care and emergency settings. At the same time, the pharmacy regulator in Britain has proposed a greater integration of science with practice, highlighting the need for pharmacists..
