Background
Evidence-based practice (EBP) can contribute to improve health system practices. Lack of communication to the public and prescribers is among the main challenges and leads to irrational therapy. E.g., an excess of cough and cold medications (antihistamines and decongestants) are used in acute respiratory tract infections by prescribers.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
