    Background

    In Malaysia, pharmaceutical advertisements are commonly found in mainstream media. There has also been an influx of pharmaceutical products being advertised on social media e.g. health supplements. The National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority enforces the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health.
