Background
Globimetula braunii belongs to the family Loranthaceae, it is a hemi-parasitic shrub that grows on dicotyledones trees and attached itself to the host by modified roots. It is known as Mistletoe (English) and “Kauchii” (Hausa). Globimetula braunii is well known as medicinal plant in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroun
