  Background

  There are limited formulations which pharmacists may recommend for paediatric patients without a prescription.

  Methods

  Scenario analysis of pharmacist-recommended products available on the local market for paediatric patients was carried out. The age range for paediatrics used in this study was that of neonates up to 12 years of age.
