Ajulemic acid (AJA), a Cannabis sativa analog, has analgesic, muscle relaxing, and anticonvulsant effects. It is a partial PPARγ agonist. Partial PPARγ agonism is advantageous in the management of many conditions including diabetes, producing fewer side-effects than full agonists like the thiazolidenediones which were withdrawn for..
