Background
The protein kinase C (PKc) family is a target in cancer management. PKc inhibitors have an important role in cancer chemotherapy1. Staurosporine, isolated from Streptomyces staurosporeus is an ATP-competitive kinase inhibitor capable of inducing cellular apoptosis2.
