Background
In the last decade, high caries prophylactic efficacy of ammonium hexafluorosilicates, including salts with substituted biologically active ammonium cations, has been demonstrated.Methods
The novel octenidine hexafluorosilicate (OHFS), whose organic cation exhibits antibacterial activity, was synthesized, evaluated for his caries.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
