Background
Many pharmacists use motivational interviewing as a tool to assist in medication therapy management. The Patient Activation Measure (PAM) is a validated assessment used to give healthcare providers and patients an idea of how activated a patient is in their own care and how to use motivational interviewing to encourage patient engagement. ..
