Background
The role of pharmacists in preventing suicide has been advocated to be included into pharmacy curriculum for some time. Death by suicide has been increasing in the US and is a leading cause of death. The World Health Organization put forth a strategy in 1985 focusing on suicide prevention. In 2016, Washington state passed a law..
