BackgroundSingle nucleotide polymorphisms in the SLCO1B1 gene are associated with higher serum simvastatin concentrations and increased risk of simvastatin-induced myopathy (SIM).
MethodsPatients on simvastatin undergoing a procedure at the cardiac catheterisation suite in an acute general hospital were recruited into this cohort study after ethics .. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
