    Background

    In most countries antibiotics are usually only lawfully available to patients from community pharmacies in accordance with a prescription from an appropriate practitioner.  In other countries, including Thailand, antibiotics can be lawfully purchased from a pharmacy without a prescription. There has been little research on antibiotics..
