Background
In Africa, almost 25 million HIV diagnoses are made with 1.1 million opportunistic infection (OI) related deaths occurring annually. In Kenya, the OI Kaposi Sarcoma (KS) can be debilitating physically and psychosocially; magnifying the HIV stigma for patients. In other countries, an unna boot can be used as adjunct therapy for KS.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
