BackgroundAccording to the WHO about 0.3 million people die annually from poisoning. Poisons are chemical substances which, on entering the body produce harmful effects. Poisons are produced by animals, plants, microorganisms and by food contamination. It may be natural, accidental or deliberate. Poisoning is an important public health problem..
