    Background

    The UK pharmacy pre-registration year is a training year in practice following 4 years at university. The Pre-registration Pharmacist Scheme (PRPS), delivered by NHS Eductation for Sscotland (NES) provides a standardised programme during which trainees evidence their progression to meet the performance standards set by the pharmacy..
