    Background

    Cognitive impairment presents with limited therapeutic options. Berries, grape and pomegranate are biophenols rich fruits that have both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

    Methods

    MEDLINE® and Proquest Central data bases were searched to retrieve articles used in this general review according to specific inclusion criteria.
