To determine the activation of inflammasomes, the degradation of pro-caspase-1 to caspase-1(p10) and the cleavage of pro-IL-1β to IL-1β were analysed by immunoblotting in mouse bone marrow-derived primary macrophages (BMDMs). The secretion of IL-1β was also determined by ELISA. A gout mouse model was generated by injecting MSU crystals.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
