A series of azatyrosinamides synthesized in this laboratory exhibited selective grow inhibition on ras-transformed over wild type NIH3T3 cell lines. The compounds were also active in inhibiting tumor growth in SCID mice bearing SW620 human colon tumor. The promising result prompted us to search for analogues with other heterocycles in replacing..
