BackgroundPhenylethyl resorcinol (4-(1-phenylethyl)1,3-benzenediol, PR) is a new whitening agent that has been found to have the ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity. However, the application of PR is limited by photo instability and poor solubility. The nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) are considered as the second generation of the lipid.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
