Aims: The incidence of catheter related infections is 10-55% in patients with hemodialysis. In addition, 33-80% of these patients are Staphylococcus aureus-related. Vancomycin is effective against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). After first hemodialysis, a dosage of 500-1000mg for vancomycin is recommended in some literatures... The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
