  • Abstract:

    Backgrounds

Despite standardized analgesia protocols, many patients still require rescue analgesia to alleviate postoperative pain. Individualized analgesia might therefore contribute to better pain management.

    Aims

To characterize the occurrence of rescue analgesia after cardiac surgery, using pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling.
