    We previously showed that docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) potentiates expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) induced by interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs).
