  • Abstract:

    Backgrounds

Naturally-occurring xanthones and their biogenetically related chromanones with δ-butyrolactones have been isolated from a wide range of plants, bacteria, and fungi. Secalonic acid B (1) was isolated as dimeric xanthones from ergot and the monomeric blennolide C (2) was isolated with 1 from fungus Blennoria sp. Gonytolide A (3), dimeric ..
