    Backgrounds

    Problems associated to the adhesion of the powders to the tableting tools during tablet compaction are common. This is known as sticking and it remains poorly understood.

    Aims

    Analytical method development with atomic force microscopy (AFM) to characterize the mechanical and adhesive properties of the pharmaceutical powders.
