  • Abstract:

    The hemocyanins of some mollusks are used in biomedicine as potent non-specific immunostimulants, including the obtained from Megathura crenulata (known as KLH), Concholepas concholepas (CCH) and Fissurella latimarginata (FLH). The common factor in their immunostimulatory mechanism is the induction of a polarization toward Th1 immune response,
