Cefuroxime axetil (CFA) is commonly exists polymorphous of crystalline and amorphous forms, of which the latter exhibits a higher bioavailability. As a poorly water-soluble drug, CFA features a low solubility and dissolution rate in the gastrointestinal tract, which limits its effective absorption and bioavailability. According to Noyes-Whitney.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
