Aim: To interview 1,000 patients, returning unused drugs to pharmacies in Sweden, on the reasons why the drugs remain unused. Methods: Sixty out of 781 community pharmacies were randomly selected and invited to participate in the study. One person at each pharmacy was, depending on pharmacy size, selected to interview 10-25 consecutive..
