Aim: To achieve a higher dermal accumulation without systemic absorption of ketorolac and its fatty acid esters (esters) by synthesizing lipophilic fatty acid esters as soft prodrugs of ketorolac.
Methods: Ketorolac decenoate (C10:1), dodecenoate (C12:1) and palmitoleate (C16:1) were synthesized and evaluated for their lipophilicity, enzymatic.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
