AIM: To study the effect of tetramethylpyrazine and/or ginsenoside Rg1 on the activity of p-glycoprotein in Caco-2 cells. METHODS: HPLCâ€'UV was used to detect the concentration of rhodamine 123, flow cytometry was used to analysis the expression of p-glycoprotein in Caco-2 cell monolayers.
