  A streptomycin-resistant (str) mutant SY-1 and a chloramphenicol-resistant (chl) mutant B3054/M were obtained from a streptomycete B3054 by inducing str mutation at 200μg/mL streptomycin and by inducing chl mutation at 20μg/mL chloramphenicol respectively.
