Monitoring medication adherence (MA) is crucial in the evaluating of the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy. Various models tend to analyse factors influencing MA. Still, fewer studies focused on a relationship between use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and MA have been conducted.
