Quercetin has potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti atherosclerotic properties and anti cancer properties but has poor aqueous solubility. crystal engineering, specifically cocrystallization is applied to improve on the solubility and thus optimize the bioavailability.
Quercetin was triturated with picolinic acid (GRAS status)in.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
