The World Health Organization recommends Drug and Therapeutics Committees (DTCs) to enhance rational medicine use (RMU) and contain antimicrobial resistance. However, many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) have few or weak DTCs.
The USAID-funded Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services program enhanced DTC-related capacity.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
