Pharmacists are frequently consulted about over-the-counter (OTC) treatments for heartburn (HB).
Individual subject data from the first 14 days were pooled for adults with frequent HB assigned to ESO 20 mg (n=921) or placebo (n=909) from 6 similarly designed randomized, double-blind clinical trials conducted at US gastroenterology centres.
