Hypoxic preconditioning (HPC) is a phenomenon that body, tissue and cell will defend a subsequent severe hypoxic damage after a brief exposure to hypoxia. Mice acute intermittent hypoxia experiment that imitates HPC procedure in animals suggests that after non-lethal exposure to hypoxia, mice tolerate a longer time span in a subsequent hypoxic..
