The acceptance criteria for the microbiological quality of pharmaceutical products are given in the pharmacopoeias. Employees in pharmacies have to make sure that these criteria are met without being able to test their products. That’s why defining suitable and sufficient hygienic precautions for premises and personnel is an extremely important..
