Background The concomitant administration of various drugs has the potential to cause adverse drug interactions (DIs), which can compromise the efficacy and safety of pharmacological therapy. The ability of health professionals to detect DIs is often limited, passing unnoticed when drugs are prescribed by the physician and subsequently validated.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
