Background: Avoidance of microbial contamination depends crucially on both ensuring microbe-free environments and good aseptic technique. It is known that antimicrobial action of alcohol (70~75%) is denaturation of proteins. However, alcohols are flammable and handling with care. They also evaporate rapidly, making extended exposure time difficult .. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
