Diarrhea is a common complication during a course of antibiotic treatment due to the disturbance of the normal gut flora. For most patients, the symptoms are mild and self-limiting, but in some cases, it may lead to severe conditions, such as bacterial gastroenteritis.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
